Give wyUpdate full access to add, delete, change, etc. file in the target folder.

If you have a file in one version and the file is missing from the next version in wyBuild, then wyBuild sees that as meaning "delete that file". If you don't want wyBuild to touch a file then exclude it from all version and wyBuild will completely ignore it.

Thank for Reply.

May I Know the followings:-

1. How can I change the update download path from user profile temp folder to installed application folder?2. I gave full rights to wyUpdate.exe but its still asking for username and password. The screen shows:-1. Program Name wyUpdate2. Verified Publisher: wyDay3. File Origin: Hard drive on this computer4. Program Location: D:\01_KK\Demo\UPDProject\UPDProject\bin1\Debug_1.2 -Copy\wyUpdate.exe" -supdf:"c:\users\imran\AppData\Local\Temp\w3574\selfupdate.sup"

No, why would you need that?

My guess is that you didn't. You need to set the folder to have full permission (edit the ACL properties for the folder and all subfolders for which wyUpdate is sitting in). How to Change File Permissions on Windows 7.
