Different applications using different activations?

Hi,

We're seeing some strange behaviour on TurboActivate running on Linux. We have 2 applications that we use on the same computer - a licensing application that the user uses to enter their license key and activate it, and another separate application which checks that the license is valid and activated and then either runs or doesn't run its services depending on the result.

However there is a problem - when you activate using application 1, when application 2 checks later it doesn't detect the activation. I would have thought that once the same TA_GUID is being used any number of applications built on TurboActivate and running on the same computer would be able to detect activations performed by other applications irregardless, right?
