OSX exception in IsGenuineExSolved

Can't get it to work at all on OSX.

Running on OSX (Mac 10.8).

Exception in IsGenuineEx (the stack contains: Activation::Load() .... ::clear ... ios::throw_ios_failure )

I have added PDetsFromPath before that line so I'm sure it finds TurboActivate.dat

Difficult to debug without source.

It shouldn't crash, and we can't reproduce this here, unfortunately. But we have had 1 other report from 1 other user. We're going to dig into this problem in the next couple of days and try to reproduce it.

In the meantime I have a couple of questions:

  1. Are you running this on a "virgin machine"? That is, have you activated before on the machine?
  2. Can you post the snippet of code you're using the get this crash? Post the code from the creation of the GENUINE_OPTIONS struct to the calling of IsGenuineEx.
  3. If you can send the full stack trace to support@wyday.com we'll take a look at it.

The bug wasn't in IsGenuineEx (), but we've found the crashing bug. It's fixed in TurboActivate 3.4.2.
