Are you asking if you can just include the wyUpdate.exe and client.wyc in your app an no other files? If so, then yes -- you can "update" to your full app from just those files.
Initial build of wyUpdate
Hi, I have a quick question about the first build of an app that will include wyUpdate.exe. If the first version of the app has all the necessary files (includijng client.wyc and wyUpdate.exe) in the installer (msi) then is there any need to include any files in the initial update version? For example could the first update package be empty?
