Now I want to start developing my next product - and it will take me 3-4 months to get to live
I do not want to upgrade to the next plan up and have to pay a lot more for 3-4 months during the development cycle. What is my alternative please?

Well, you could create a free plan, then when you're ready to launch upgrade your account, create a new product and go from there.
