air application is not able to run systa.exe file

Hi,

I have purchased limelm account for my application. I have integrated it and create air installer file. When i install air application it is not showing our application window. though the process is started which i can see in task manager.

Then i have created .exe installer of my application.Using .exe installer file i am able to see my application screen and also i am able to run activation code. But .exe has stopped some features of my application which was working fine when i was usnig air installer.

Can you provide me some guideline in this issue?

Hey Dhwani,

The "air application is not able to run systa.exe file" error means that you didn't include the systa.exe (and/or other necessary files like TurboActivate.dat / TurboActivate.dll) with your app. See step 8 in "Using TurboActivate with Adobe AIR"

Thanks for the reply. I have included all the necessary files into my application. Note that if i create .exe installer file instead of .air installer file , Application runs perfectly. It also access limelm files. But i need to create .air installer. And that is the issue which i am not getting.

I hope now my query is clear. Is there anyway we can use .air installer file inplace of .exe installer file?

No, you have to use the "native installer" (.exe not the *.air). This is a limitation Adobe put into place (and idiotic limitation if you ask me).
