Serial Numbers Not working

I have been having problems with serial numbers not working. It's been just a few so far, but my developer and I have gone through the SDK and it just won't activate certain serial numbers.

What's the return code or error? If the serial has already been used the maximum number of activation then that can be the failure reason. But you haven't given me nearly enough information.

So, for starters: What's the error?

Yes, of course I made sure that the serial number did not reach it's allowable activation and made sure it was active.

The user enters the serial number and the only error is that the Serial Number is not Valid.

Make sure the user Copy & pastes the serial number that you sent them (they probably typed a character wrong). Also, make sure they didn't fool with any of your files (specifically the TurboActivate.dat file).

Quick solution: tell them to reinstall your app, then tell them to copy & paste the serial (not type).

Also, this should go without saying, but a trial extension is not a serial number. Some users make this mistake.
