Automatic download and installation; polling for upgrade
sorab2904I am looking for a software package or tool for automatic download and installation. The software package (like wy...) will be installed on user desktop machine , this is one time activity. This installed package will continuously check/pool for any upgrade on the server ( e.g. my website). When any upgrade is available on server , the software package will download the upgrade and install on user desktop machine.
Pls let me know if I can use the wy... tool for this purpose.
sorab2904Thanks for response;As I understand the "wy..." package will check the software upgrade (e.g. MyProj.msi) on the server in silent mode, and whenever upgrade is available it will download and install in silent mode, without user intervention. This will be repetitive task for wy.... package; The "wy..." package will be installed manually by user and it will be one time activity for the desktop.
Well, as I said, it's completely up to you whether you want the user to be involved or if you want the whole process to work silently in the background.
