Is there a way that i can recover my signed key that i have used with a prior project. I have tried to build a update and the program that i have built will not update it is getting "Verification Failed" and i have read that this normally happens when the signed keys don't match.
The thing is though is that i have the same program on a windows 7 computer and on a windows XP, i can get the update fine on the windows 7 but not the XP computer.
Anyone have any thought on this or is there a way to recover the signed key from the original client.wyc file.

Do you still have the project sitting around? If so, open it in wyBuild, click File -> Properties -> Signing and copy the whole signing key string. Then paste that string into your new project.
I have done this and i am still not able to update on a windows XP but the update still works fine on windows 7.
On the Windows XP if i start from the original installation and get the updates they go through just fine.
Make sure the client.wyc file on the machine is built with the same project (signing key) as you build your updates.
Rebuild your updates and upload them to your server. Also rebuild wyUpdate and include the latest client.wyc and wyUpdate.exe with your app.
