I updated to 2.6.16.1, and my WPF Automatic Updater is now saying in the error details:wyUpdate exited prematurely"wyUpdate.exe failed to start
I dropped in a copy of wyUpdate.exe version 2.6.14.0 and it works (I just wrote over the generated wyUpdate.exe version 2.6.16.1
This is a very vanilla WPF application (.net 4.0), using the .net 4.0 control/dll.
Any help is appreciated.

Recompile your application. Are you using the AutomaticUpdater 2.6.16? (To check, right click the AutomaticUpdater.dll, click properties, and look at the version number).
Also, if you're using 2.6.16 of the AutomaticUpdater and you're still getting the same error, then try double click wyUpdate.exe. What happens?
johnonlygot an error also can't start the wyupdate.exe .net40 wpf get the following error .. both when I run the file (wyupdate.exe) and when I try t use the control... the version is 2.6.16.1 I didn't have this error .. using 2.6.16.0

Ah damnit -- this is another stupid oversight. We're fixing it posthaste. I'm truly sorry.

OK, wyBuild 2.6.16.2 (and the .NET 4.0 version of wyUpdate 2.6.16.2) will now actually work. Update wyBuild, rebuild wyUpdate, and include the fixed wyUpdate.
