I can only find partial or old information for this in> forum answers. I'm also having trouble finding a description of when to use AutomaticUpdater vs AutomaticUpdaterBackend, and what the differences for the user will be.
They have full admin rights and they say previous version of the program (when I didn't call IsGenuineEx but only IsActivated) worked correctly.I've searched the forum and made the customer to remove those key files - to no avail still the same error code 1 when calling CheckAndSavePKey(key, TA_SYSTEM).I made the customer to turn on UAC on (it was off before) - still no change.

Hey Wyatt, I didn't hear back from you in email after you asked me to send the details, neither djnickburrett got any reply in the forum. We tried one more time with this function, ta.IsGenuineEx(1, 0, false); We activated the application aournd 5:10 pm, 9th August, wednesday.
Answered by e-mail.To sum-up: this network adapter problem is too frequent and we have lost a large amount of time with multiple customers due to this.We've already followed all the publicly available steps (as well as other steps privately shared by e-mail earlier) before contacting you.Searching this forum show that this happens frequently enough and I hope future LimeLm updates will better handle or at least report about this problem to save time for all parties involved.I'll keep you posted by e-mail about this specific customer and hope you'll be able to provide fast replies next time we're in contact.
I have read the help files and forum but I'm struggling to get any data back from the ta.GetFeatureValue() using vb.net 2017.
Called Limelm customer service and said it was simple for someone with experience. "Sam" a frequent forum user seemed like he knew what he was talking about.
Or are we expected to check this forum every day? I don't object to changing the API for security requirements, even with short notice.
I tried searching for the problem on the forum and got several results that date back to 2016, 2017 and they all suggest contacting support.
We've covered this in other threads on this forum. We've released 2.7 to beta testers, found the installer integration didn't work as smoothly as planned, replaced it with another installation system and we're preparing the release of 2.8.

We have a system that is not internet accessible and have periodically used the verified offline trial and extension feature described here: https://wyday.com/forum/t/4304/offline-trial-extension/However, recently we found that after the initial trial has expired and we use the offline verified trial activation via the website, we're no longer prompted for the new expiration like we used to be, and the resulting trial activation code fails with error code 1.
