Our example already does what you're looking for, except it does it in a user-friendly way. Namely, it starts with the trial. Once the trial is over then the customer can't use your app at all unless they activate.

There are a number of solutions available on macOS, but none are particularly user-friendly.
A more user friendly reply would be "You have no more rights to down load updates from ..., Please contact ... for more information".

Hi,(maybe a silly question)I already posted some questions about verified and unverified trials. Because it is more friendly to give customers an unverified trial my question is the following.
If I request Lease in the GUI while starting app, it is stucked for that time, and then just show error message - it is not very user friendly.

We invest more time and money into our front-end (a new redesigned mobile friendly version is coming soon). Don't waste your time and money re-creating what you're paying us to create.

There are surely other scenarios where wyUpdate can be more friendly for the clueless end-users. I'll try to post them as I encounter them.
