Windows Vista does all the heavy lifting in this case. It's all in the <a href="http://wyday.com/wyupdate/" rel="nofollow">C# code that's freely available</a>. Who? Microsoft.

To be more specific the warning screen is the result of using the ShutdownBlockReasonCreate(…) function and handling the WM_QUERYENDSESSION & WM_ENDSESSION messages. Windows Vista does all the heavy lifting in this case.

Also, if you used up all your trial days in the wyUpdate Designer trial, the "clock" is reset when you try wyBuild 1.2.
